2. In short

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or social media plugins. Fonts are stored on this server, so no data is sent to Google or other font services. Personal data is only processed when you visit the site (server log files) and when you contact me.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by SiteGround. Each time you open a page, the server automatically records technical information in log files: your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure, for example to detect attacks. It is not combined with other data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website). Log files are deleted automatically by the host after a short period. SiteGround processes this data on my behalf; details can be found in SiteGround's privacy policy on their website.

4. Contact form and email

If you write to me using the contact form or by email, I receive your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message. I use this information only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out an agreement with you (for example a collaboration or a licence). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about my services and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for all other enquiries. Your message is stored in my mailbox at SiteGround and deleted when it is no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply. Your data is not passed on to third parties.

5. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser and by the address starting with https://.

6. Links to other websites

This website links to Instagram and to my travel blog. No data is transferred to these services until you click a link. Once you are on another website, its own privacy policy applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, simply email me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
